Easter Sunday ended on a sad note for our Monthly Dinner Group.
Bergan has taken a wonderful opportunity to work in Tokyo, Japan for 9 months.
He, Tomoko and Ayumi left Monday morning. Although we are all putting up a good front in this photo, there were plenty of tears as we said goodbye to our best friends. Our monthly dinner group is down to 4, but we are determined to continue as usual, including the Bergan's with the use of webcam technology.
I have gotten some updates via email from Tomoko and they are settling in, liking Tokyo, and adjusting to "city life." We miss you guys so much!

We miss you guys too - but for me it hasn't really sunk in yet that we are away from home since we have been so busy. But after completely settling in, I think it will set in. The toughest thing will be missing the dinners - especially the liquid part of it.
