Happy Hollow

Attie was on Spring Break from school this past week. She and I had lots of fun hanging out, but Attie especially enjoyed Happy Hollow. It's a small zoo with lots of cute animals, most of which have no business living in San Jose. There is also a very large park attached with kiddie rides, play structures, puppet shows, train rides, and cafe. We couldn't do everything in one day, so we went two days. I was very impressed when Attie marched right into the contact area and cooed the pygmy goats over for some food. She was not the least bit scared and even put them in their place when they got too pushy.

Attie has really changed over the years. To think we once worried about Levi being too bossy with Attie.

The other day while being able to see Fuji-san (Mt. Fuji is treated like a person in Japan - hence the '-san') Ayumi started saying China (i don't know why) - then she said 'Attie from China'.

Ayumi has mentioned going to see you guys, but nothing too demanding yet. And one last Ahearn story - we finally posted some photos on the fridge. There is ne of you guys - and even though you are the smallest faces of all the pictures - that is the one that ayumi had to point out to me when we sat down for dinner.
