This is Attie and her new friend from school, Joshua.
Joshua's mom, Alice and I started talking everyday after preschool and so Attie and Joshua would play in the school yard. We figured we should start having a more structured play date and so we have been hanging out about once a week. Joshua is a good friend, he and Attie play so well together. They both love to play in the sand, sing songs to us moms, and feed imaginary fish leaves that they pull of of bushes?

I'm so happy for Attie that she has a weekly playdate with a friend from school. That's great! But why does it make me sad?!?
