A Staghorn Fern!!!
It reminds us of Florida and we are hoping that ours will live as long or longer than Dad's 25 year old one. Dad, did you know that they like to eat banana peels? Since we don't have a tree to hang it on and the weather is still a bit wintry, we are keeping it on the patio, out of the wind.

Interesting looking plant. It looks like a plant that could eat a small animal. Wishing you a green thumb!
Plants on steroids? Why? Are the plants out in Cali bigger than plants in Florida? Just curious about the comment.
